Hi,

I have an "open network connections" icon with a red X through it on my task
bar, I can't get rid of it.

I have right clicked on the taskbar > properties > customize (hide inactive
icons) and have tried to fix it that way by clicking on "hide allways" but
it just doesn't work.it still is here.

Does anybody have any suggestions on this bug?

Right-click on the icon you have with the red X and left click on "Open
Network Connections" You should now see the Network Connection you are
trying to close. Right click on that, choose Properties and on the General
tab, you will see two check boxes towards the bottom. Remove the check marks
and that will remove the icon from your task bar.

Good Luck.....

Oh thanks very much for that excellent advice, I have now done it, it hasn't
yet moved but I think it should do when I reboot. :)
