How to remove records of recently accessed documents

I would appreciate someone telling me how to clear the
list of recently accessed documents. In previous versions
of Windows it was: start-settings-task bar/start menu-
advanced tap and then clear.

Right click on START, click on Properties, then click the customise button,
click on clear.

Window washer works great at it cleans out other garbage
as well
