The program icon for Outlook is on my desktop. It is not a
shortcut... it is the program. How do I move it to the 'My
Programs" file without re-installing it?

Thanx

You can delete it safely by following these instructions;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/removeoutlookicon.htm

You can create a shortcut to Outlook by going to your installation folder->
right click Outlook-> Send To-> Desktop. By default you can find it here;
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office
