HOW TO REMOVE OLD / UNUSED NIC ADAPTER FROM REGISTRY

Hi All,

Currently facing an installation problem with HP Laserjet using TCP/IP.
Error on TCP/IP setting. Found that I have several NIC Adapter installed on
system (4 altogether). I assume that's the cause of problem (program cannot
figure out which NIC adapter to use). Tried showing hidden devices under
windows system (only 1 NIC available - the one currently using). If only I
can find a way to remove those old NIC adapter from windows xp registry.
Anyone out there faced the same problem before.

The following knowledge base article should fix you up. You have to make
another setting that tells the Device Manager to show devices that are not
currently present on the system in addition to the "Hidden Devices" setting.
