How to remove LOP toolbar

T

tallpage

Hi everyone,
Please help me to remove lop toolbar in IE, it also adds links in Favorites.
I tried Spybot-Search &Destroy, but cannot remove the toolbar. So I open
Control panel, Add/Remove Programs, but didn't find any strange program
there. I did uninstall MSN Messenger 7.0, and Messenger Plus. But the
toolbar STILL there.
My computer running WinXP Pro
Thanks in advance

Download, install, update and run all of the following.

Ad-Aware
http://www.pcbutts1.com/downloads/aawsepersonal.exe

Spybot search and destroy
http://www.pcbutts1.com/downloads/spybotsd14.exe

Ewido Security Suite Trial version

Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta1)

If none of the above fixes the issue then download Hijack this, run it, save
a copy of the log file and cut and paste it back here to this group so that
I can analyze it. Ignore anyone especially the troll Leythos, who will tag
along a nonsense post to this message, who tells you to post it elsewhere. I
need to see it not them.

Thanks for your advice, but I read a post by Julie Jules, re:Trying to delete
from Favorites, 6/12/2005 and follow the link:
http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/downloads.htm
and download lopremover.exe and ran it, then restart the computer, all the
toolbar and the links in Favorites are gone.
Thanks again

NEVER download files from anywhere unless it is from the website of the
developer, manufacturer or some entity that you trust. They ALWAYS have the
most up to date files that haven't been tampered with by some third party
who is "hosting" (read Leeching) those files without permission.
