How to remove an embedded sound from a slide

I've inherited a PowerPoint presentation and it has an embedded recording on
some of the slides. (184 slides total)

I've deleted the speaker icon from those slides, but the voice is still
there. I can't figure out how to delete the recording completely. Does
anyone have any ideas?

I take pills to make the voices stop..
seriously thou
check the slide transition options,
check the custom animation on the taskbar
check on the slide for action settings on activation of the custom
animation..
