Hello everyone - Can anyone tell me how to recover
my "lost" emails? I had multiple subfolders in my Inbox,
and last night they were there. I left my computer on
throughout the night, and went to check email this
morning, and my computer, for some unknown reason, would
not let me "click" onto the icon for my email (Outlook
Express). I did a restart, and it automatically went
to "checkdisk"... I let it go thru the scenerio, and then,
when it booted back up, I clicked onto Outlook Express....
and for some reason it brought up a "new Outlook Express"
that did not ask for my password, and did not show the
subfolders under my inbox.

All of my "sent" emails are there, my "contacts" are OK
too. SO, I closed out, and tried "RESTORE" to a point
yesterday when it worked... but still the same
results... I would really like to recover my missing
email subfolders and all of their contents. CAN ANYONE
HELP?

I use Windows XP Home, fairly new computer, and have NOT
had any problems so far. I run a virus protector. Thanks
for any help!

All email folders are stored as .dbx files. So search your computer for
inbox.dbx.

But tell search to look at hidden and system files, and search
sub-directories (advanced search options) or it won't find them.
