HOW TO PUT PIC ON FOLDERS AND/OR FILES IN MY PICTURES

I have lots of files in MY PICTURES that I would like to put pictures on the
cover. How do you do this?

Thanks for any help
 
This will be a Windows setting; explore the View options in Windows
Explorer.
