How to provide wireless access throughout the home?

I have a 802.11b wireless router . However, it doesn't cover the entire
house. In various corners of the house, the connection is very low,
sometimes non-existent. I'd like to buy another wireless
router/hub/whatever and provide access throughout the entire house. How
can I do this, so that if I am walking through the house with a laptop,
downloading something, the connection is seamless and I don't have to
change settings just because I went to a different room?

Place the router in a central position in the house. Also, Range Extenders and/or larger base
antennas.
