Dear All

Could some one kindly tell me exactly how I can propergate a specific set of proxy server settings to all clients on our Network. We're using AD 2000 and our clients PC's are 50% NT4 (Mix of IE 5.5/6.0 & 50% XP Pro). All our users are under one Organisational Unit

Thank you kindly for help :-

Kind regards

Anthony.

You can use Internet Explorer Maintenance part within a Group Policy to
define a proxy server. Since Group Polices not applies to Pre-Windows2000
Computers. You can use a logon script to set the particular registry keys to
define a proxy server. or you can use the IEKA tool

For XP client it is easy by using group policy on ou that holds computer
accounts. For NT box, maybe use logon script to import this value into NT4
users registry as proxy setting is nothing more than registry entry.
