How to print a word document with paragraph style names

Hi Doug

Thanx for your help, your macro works fine, but it corrupts the paragraph
styling, (tabs, indents etc.) because the style names go next to the
paragraphs.

I need to print a word document with the styles on the left margin just like
how you view the document in word, I go to tools, options, and tick style
area width, eg. 2cm, this displays all the styles on the left margin. The
printed page should look exactly like the word document. Is this possible?

many thanx

This is not possible. You could reset the paragraph styles to add a first
line negative indent, but that rather defeats the object. The only other
possibility is to use a multipage screen capture driver like Snag-It, which
will capture the display screens.

How about running the macro with track changes on, and then printing
Original plus Mark up with balloons - haven't tested, but this ought to show
the inserted text (the style names) as balloons against the original text.

Or - adapt the macro so that it inserts the stylename in a new paragraph,
using a framed style to place in the margin?
