How to prevent Outlook 2003 from closing Word 2003

I am running XP (tablet edition), Outlook 2003 and Word 2003 on a tablet pc
and I use Word constantly throughout the day.

How can I prevent Outlook from closing word each time I send an email. I
have tried disabling word as default email editor but then I can't ink in
emails.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I stumbled upon my own answer.....here it is....

If you have edited a document in Word, but left it open, and if you use Word
as you email editor in Outlook, after editing an email, Word may close. You
can prevent this if you change the Windows in Taskbar setting. Open Word
from your Word Icon, (not from Outlook) and with a document open. Click
Tools|Options|View. Tick to untick the Windows in Taskbar. OK, and close
Word.
