Hi,

On my XP, my security settings are on, and I can not ping to any host
on my lan. What should I do ? Which TCP/IP port should I enable ?

PING doesn't use port numbers. Try using the ICMP tab.

Once again, as has been posted many many times in this newsgroup:
The XP ICF is meant to be used on a SINGLE computer for its
INTERNET connection only. It should NOT be enabled on any LAN
for sharing files and printers between computers. Period. End of Story.
If you want to use a firewall on such a LAN, then you need to install
and configure a third-party firewall such as Zone Alarm. Just a little
research on http://www.google.com/ reveals information such as:
