how to make the "windows mail" support msn/hotmail

it seems that the "windows mail" does not support msn/hotmail, is there any
way to do that?

I don't think so, unless there's some 3rd party add-in.

Yeah, if you search this NG, you'll find references to 3rd party programs
that work well.

I use HotPop, free program that works as a proxy server to access hotmail.

Is your account a POP3 account? If so, with the new smtp.live.com and
pop3.live.com servers it is very easy.

Use the acct wizard to set up the acct, but us a dummy domain for your email
acct for setup to get around the dumb wizard -- use your (e-mail address removed),
for instance. Set up all the servers, pswds, ports normally. Then go back
in and change (e-mail address removed) to (e-mail address removed).

You will then be good to go to send/receieve MSN POP3 email using WinMail.
Works like a charm!
