I use msn premium, to get online, my email accounts are .msn and hotmail.
when i am online and what to reply to something online, like on craiglist,
vista opens window mail and not my msn email. tech suport says there is
nothing i can do. it sucks. I DONT LIKE WINDOWS MAIL I LIKE .MSN AND HOTMAIL.
MAYBE I SHOULD JUST BUY A MAC NEXT TIME. WHAT I NEED TO NOW IS IF I UPGRADE
TO WINDOW 7 WILL I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. CAN SOMEONE EMAIL ME.

Try Windows Live Mail, JOEILUV you might be surprised at how easy it works.

Vista uses Windows Mail as the default mailto: handler.
If you wish to use Live Hotmail/MSN as the default, you'll need to make it
the default.

Yes, Windows 7 will act the same way. And probably a Mac would also.

Then make either your MSN mail or Hotmail your default email client and remove
Windows Mail from being default so as it will not by your default.

You need to set your own setting and not blame something or someone else as the
culprit.

IE\Properties\Programs\E-Mail

This fix say: VISTA !!!!! WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WINDOWS 7 !!!!
This fix NOT work with win 7 !!
