Tools > Database Utilities > Switchboard Manager > Edit (or New...)
That will take you to the Edit Switchboard Page, there you can use the
buttons on the right for example "New" to add new command to open your
forms, or "Edit" to edit current command, from this point on
everything is straight forward. Keep in mind that you're only allowed
8 commands on the Switchboard.

One more thing is to run the Compact and Repair utility after creating
your commands:

Tools > Database Utilities > Compact and Repair Database

I would strongly suggest that you create your switchboard using an
unbound Form and adding Command Buttons as needed.
You'll have more control over the switchboard (compared to using the
built-in switchboard manager) and are not limited to 8 buttons.
If you use the Command Button wizard when adding command buttons,
access will even write most of the code for you. Maintenance will be
much simpler.

I have to agree with Fred! An unbound table is a gazillion times more
flexible than a Manager generated Switchboard! If you've created an app with
multiple tables/queries/forms, take the little bit of extra time necessary to
do this part right!

I agree with you Fred, creating your own is more flexible but for
novice developers or students it's still a good start despite its
limitation.
