How do i change windows xp to log staright into my account without clicking
on my account picture?
I am running on xp home w/ SP2 installed. I thought i could just go in into
the control panel, admin tools, local security policy and change the
interactive logon to off but i think SP2 does away with that.

Hi Fido,

Install TweakUI, go to Logon - Autologon and check "Log on
automatically at system startup" then enter the users name.

Microsoft PowerToys - Tweakui for WinXP: Ver. 2.10 requires WinXP SP1
and later
http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWSXP/home/downloads/powertoys.asp

With NO Service Packs installed, the earlier version can be found
here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

TweakUI can be accessed from Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

So are you trying to say that there isnt any way of changing that since SP2
without installing 3rd party programs?

Another way to make XP Autologon to an account:

Click Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2", and click Ok. Uncheck
"Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option, and
click Ok.

Can I setup a log in script to restrict user's login time by using local
computer policy?
