How to Link Access 2003 to SharePoint?

Hi,

I'm trying to link an Access 2003 DB table to windows SharePoint 2.0,
but get an error saying 'Access could not connect to the site you
specified. Verify the address of the site or contact your
administrator'.

I've read through MS help and searched this forum, but haven't really
found much help. I suspect this is something incredibly simple that
I'm overlooking ...

Here's what I've done so far; from my table, go to File -> Get
External Data -> Import (I've tried link as well) -> Files of Type =
Windows SharePoint Services -> enter the url of the list I want to
link to ... then I get the error message above.

I've had some really really really bad experiences with MDB /
Sharepoint; so if I were you I would avoid it
