How to leave message for incoming messages when out of town

I want to know how to have an automatic message response to incoming mail,
when I am out of town and the message indicates dates I will out of town

Check with your ISP to see if they offer a feature like that, otherwise
you're looking at creating a rule and having to leave your computer on the
entire time your away.
