Every time I insert a CD, or plug in a USB drive up comes a pop-up box asking "What do you Windows to do?" together with
a list of programs that could be used to open the various flies. I always select "Do nothing" and check "Always take
this this action." However, next time I plug in a thumb drive I'll get the same pop-up box. Is there any way to stop
this once and for always?

Before you put the CD or USB drive in, hold down the Shift key. Not only
will that stop the pop ups, it will stop and DRM crap the CD may want to
install on your computer.

open my computer and right click on the drive you want to change autorun
features for and choose the autorun tab and select what type of files are on
it in the drop down box and then set your settings

if that does not work then i am unsure to whats causing this
