How to install updates for Beta 2 on 5456?

Is it possible to install updates for Beta 2 on 5456 build (which is also
marked as Beta 2, but available updates do not install). Updater displays a
message saying that this update is not intended for this version of system. I
especially want to install Symantec Antivirus 10 patch, but other also. Maybe
some of issues are already fixed, but the antivirus one is not. Windows says
that Symantec Autoprotect service is not compatible with Windows Vista and
disables it every time.

I can't think of an easy way to trick the installer into thinking it's
installing onto the official beta 2 build. Even if you could, who knows if
it would work ...

I wouldn't worry about it too much, anyway, as 5456 is getting pretty old,
and MS has been keeping good track record recently of providing new builds
to techbeta every month or so.
