How to install from Office XP CD?

WinXP.
I need to install Outlook. I insert the Office 2003 CD and during setup, I
can either install all Office components or remove everything and install
only Outlook. If I deselect Excel, for instance, the installer starts
removing it. I don't want to uninstall all my other Office components, only
to install Outlook.


How can I go about this?
 
Simply set OL to install, do not alter the previous settings
You are modifying the install, so if eg you deselect Excel, it will
uninstall it
 
But will this re-install all my other Office programs? I just finished the
lengthy Office update and I worry that it will revert.
 
I've added features before, in prior Office versions, my origonal
installation was unaffected - updates that is -
