how to import a .pst contact list from Outlook 2003 to a 2002

A friend send me his .pst contact list, but he use Outlook 2003 and I have
2002. How can I import (or use) this files to added to my contact list.

Have your friend create a 97-2002 compatible .pst file and then send it to
you. Once you receive it, do not import, use File->Open to open the file
and drag and drop the items to your preferred folders.
