How to "globally" set print options for PowerPoint

Greetings!

I often print PPT files and very often (99.9% of times) choose "Handout" and
"2 Slides per page" options.

Is there a way of setting global options for PPT printing to include the
above. It is very irritating to have to choose the above options every time I
need to print.

Many thanks in advance.

You can set the default printing options for each presentation: Tools, Options,
Print tab. I think it'll be obvious from there.

You can set the defaults as above when creating or editing a template. New
presentations based on the template will carry the printing defaults too.

You can, I think, use Shyam's Save A Tree addin. Check http://skp.mvps.org/

Thanks Steve. I forgot to mention that I rarely (if ever) needed to print a
PPT file more than once. Thus my concern is not how to set the above options
for a particular PPT file but as a "permanent" default for all PPT files (and
templates).

Thanks again.

Then you would benefit from the add-in. Add-in's are machine based so any
presentation opened on that machine would be subject to the printing options
of the SaveTheTrees add-in.

Really, check it out.

My thanks to Steve and Bill. I searched Shyam's website for addins with tree
or save in their titles, but to no avail. Perhaps it is part of another
addin. Could you kindly provide further pointers? I will be printing PPT
files for a LONG time and the sooner I use this addin, a little more trees I
can save.

Bests,
Ideen

Odd. I went to his site, typed "save the trees" into the search box and got

http://skp.mvps.org/savetree.htm

Which is what you're after.
