How to get rid of "Links" folder?

A folder called "Links" keeps showing up in my Favorites menu. I'll
delete it (via the Organize Favorites function), and next time I pull
down the menu, it's back again. This will happen during the same run
of the program, so it's not a default that just comes up when I first
open the browser.

There's never anything inside the folder, so I have no use for it.
Is there a preferences option or something that I can change so that
this folder will go away permanently?

Thanks,

J Wermont

Just set the attributes of the Links folder to Hidden if you don't
want to see or use this valuable resource.

The contents of the Links folder appear in a Toolbar, which can be turned on
via View > Toolbars.

I use it for my most common Favorites and position the Links Toolbar on the
same row as the menus (using a space which is otherwise blank).

This means that I can get at these Favorites with a single click.

Thank you.

What is "valuable" about it??

I find the Links bar invaluable for quick, one key access to often
used favorites. YMMV
