How to get rid of GOOGLE Image Search error ?

Hello.

DELL Dimension 9150, XP Pro SP2, IE6.0.2900.2180.

Does anybody know how to get rid of the GOOGLE image search screen that
comes up in place of "Page cannot be displayed" ?

I bought a new Dell and uninstalled the GOOGLE search bar, but i still get
screens from GOOGLE Images when an internet address is not found.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony

Hi Tony,

First try reseting your web settings. Internet Options>Programs tab>Reset
Web Settings... button.
This may not work however depending upon if the google toolbar was installed
on an administrator account (which it probably was as an OEM install)

If you know how to change the registry the setting for this is "Search Page"
which you will find in the "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main"
key

My search page value is http://g.msn.com/OSEENUS/SAOS01?FORM=TOOLBAR

You can also try searching your registry for values containing
"images.google"

Regards.
