How to get rid of autofill in an .htaccess login box

I have never had any of the autofill features under tools/iinternet
options/content/autocomplete turned on, and they still are not. (with the
exception of "web addresses")

For some reason IE6 is retaining the informatin on the login name for one
site I signed up with to see what the content is and I can't get rid of it.
Anyone know where that is stored so I can remove it manually as clearing
forms and clearing passwords under tools/iinternet
options/content/autocomplete has not done the job.

Try deleting any cookies for that site.

Thanks Frank. I had already deleted any and all cookies I could find in the
computer. I can go to any site now that has .htaccess and that username
shows up as an option. It has, I beleive, been imbedded somewhere in the
Registry and a search has not located it (probably encrypted) I've even
used a couple of different Registry cleaners and while they have certainly
made the computer more efficient, did not find and remove this irritant
