How to Get Back SCSI/RAID Controllers?

While somewhat reckless and sleepy, while I was trying to hand-uninstall
Daemon Tools 3.44, I accidentally uninstalled the entire SCSI/RAID
Controllers section via
Rightclick on My Computer > Manage > Device Manager > SCSI/RAID
Controllers > Rightclick > uninstall

This is the DT page with the instructions:
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/viewtopic.php?t=2287
"...device manager (SCSI/RAID Controllers section) and delete SCSI
controller with name corresponding with name of Daemon driver"

I think I was only supposed to delete something less than the whole
section. Is that section normally in WinXP?

Actually, everything except DT seems to work okay. A new install of DT
3.41, when I try to run it, says the SCSI controller is missing.

So how do I reinstall the SCSI/RAID Controllers?

From your post it sounds like your pc boots. Therefore you must have drives
connected to the system's mother board that it boot from. Have you tried to
"add new hardware" and give it your scsi card's drivers?

Hi
I was just there a few days ago with the same issue. The way I resolved the
issue was to uninstall the daeemon tools. I found that the folder for daemon
tools was still there though. I deleted the folder and then I was able to
get the regular scsi controller to set up again properly. Then I rebooted
and reinstalled daemon tools 3.44. All is well now. Maybe the same strategy
would work for you...

My problem first came about when I went top the M$ update site and it told
me that it had a updated scsi driver. Doing this update is what hosed me in
the first place so I advise against doing this update to anyone who may be
reading this for grins...

Uninstall version 3.41 then reinstall 3.44 during install it will give an
option to name the SCSI driver, change it to whatever, then finish the
install.
After reboot DT should be working again.
