Hi folks,

well, i'm using Routing&RAS and NAT, so i want to forward incoming
packets to a computer within my LAN. I don't want to forward any UDP- or
TCP-Port, instead i need to forward a whole IP-protocol with number 57.

Any ideas? Did Microsoft forget this?

Are you using ISA Server? ...need specifics.

No, i'm not using ISA Server yet. I'm using pure Routing&RAS on a normal
Win2k Server install.

With MS RRAS implementation of NAT, you can forward either TCP or UDP
packets to a specific address. The protocol IDs are opened automagically
for the pre-configured Ports ( PPTP for example )

i need to configure the server so that a novell-vpn can be established
through it. Therefor i need to forward protocol 57.

perhaps this is only a GUI problem and i could use netsh or something to
configure that.

Netsh does not allow for this either. if you do a Netsh Routing IP NAT add
PortMapping ? you will see that Proto is either TCP or UDP only
