I do not fully understand your question

will check out the link

Im inside my routers port forward setup
basically, Im not sure what to put in the blank.

it wants to know the souce IP and destination IP

for source IP, which IP is my source.. this just doesn't make sense to
me

for the other blanks.. I think I understand what they mean

Thank you

says

"Error Source IP Invalid"

I also tried 0.0.0.0 I also tried my external web presence IP
ipchicken.com ( like the one they report back to you there)

What if I disabled the DHCP server at the router, will my pc behave as
if the router is not there? my modem can hand me an ip right? sure it
can..

but will it actually see me past the router

if I disable the dhcp, i could be dead in the water as I would not be
able to re-enter the routers admin to re-enable dhcp

I have also tried the DMZ, i just need to open a certain port on my
machine for external http access.

Thanks very much.

The "source IP" setting serves to restrict the external
machines that can tunnel through your router. If all IPs
are accepted then the usual setting is blank or all "0"s.
If your router does not accept either of these settings
then it is obviously a case of RTFM or of consulting
the FAQs for this device.

hmmm, the manual does not match the actual admin interface
they speak of options that clearly do not present themselves in the
actual admin interface...

makes me think this is why i got this vonage motorola voice funky for
free in the first place. they gave it to me! just for signing up.

this thing needs a firmware update, im not sweating it.

it was a noble effort, I am aborting
