How to Explore instead of Open

On doble click on any folders in windows explorer Right side window, it opens
the folder, Is it possible that once I double click it will explore that
folder.

I found this facility is available in windows 98 second edition.

I want to double click on any of the folder and it should explore that in
the same window.

Please advise me how to do.

Are you speaking of the same thing as clicking the plus next to the
folder?
Or
Right clicking the folder and selecting Explore from the popup menu?

Folder Options -> File Types -> Folder -> Advanced -> hi-lite 'explore' -> 'Set as Default'
