windows explorer behavior changed

Hi all,

XP Pro SP2, all pertinent critical and security updates via WU installed

I just noticed that now when in Windows Explorer, two pane window.. folders
on left, files and folders on right, when I double click a folder in the
right side pane, instead of opening that folder(in the same window) it is
now opening a separate search window for that folder.

How do I change it back? I could find nothing in the properties that was
the obvious (to me) control for this behavior.
