How to establish a VPN Tunnel b4 logging into Win2k Domain Remotely ??

I use a ZyWALL10 as a VPN SERVER. It is the gateway on my Remote LAN. From
my home I use SSH Sentienl to tunnel into the
VPN via ADSL.

My Remote Server is configured as a WINS SERVER & DNS SERVER.
(eg:192.168.1.10)

My local network setting has 192.168.1.10 as PRI DNS & WINS SERVER. I have
also included a LMHOST FILE:
192.168.1.10 DC1 #PRE #DOM:MYDOMAIN

I can establish my VPN tunnel & ping & access all resources like I could on
a normal workgroup successfully.

But I would like to login onto the domain, so that the AD can control the
user rights & resource allocations.

The problem is that, I am unable to establish a VPN tunnel during the time
when the Windows Logon window appears (during startup),
therefore I get the obvious error message "Domain unavaliable".

How do I establsh a VPN TUNNEL before windows logon window appears ? Or
establish it on the background while the windows logon window is showing ??

Please advise. Unless there is a totally new solution to this ?

How do you establish the VPN? Do you use the Microsoft VPN client?

If you use the MS VPN client and configure it "for all users", you will
get an option in the logon screen to log on using a dialup connection. This
allows you you do a domain login as you connect.

No, as I have already written in my previous post:

"I use a ZyWALL10 as a VPN SERVER. It is the gateway on my Remote LAN. From
my home I use SSH Sentienl to tunnel into the VPN via ADSL."

When means to say I am using the SSH SENTINEL VPN Client.

Any others??
