how to ensure playback of video file in ppt. without orginal file

I need help adding a video file to a ppt. presentation so that the video file
is part of the presentation and not simply playing from the orginal file on
my hard drive. I want to make the video file embedded in the ppt. so if i
send the ppt. file to someone, they can see the video without the orginal
file. I also want the video file to play automatically when the slide comes
up. THANK YOU in advance.

You probably wont thank me in advance!

There is no way to embed video files in powerpoint!

You might like to try a trial of PFCmedia which will at least make it fairly
sure they will work.
