How to enable uploads?

Hi folks,

I am just now trying to enable a directory for upload on my FP site. As the
help system says, I have created a site with the necessary form and am now
trying to flag an individual folder as "open for upload".

However, that doesn't work. On all my folders, the necessary option under
"properties" is greyed out.

Does anyone have a hint?

Contact your Provider on this. They may not allow it.
If you are trying this on your own computer, that is why it doesn't
work.
