How to enable password protect for screensaver

Hi all. When i log in to pc, i am required to key in password. However when i
exit my pc screensaver mode i was not prompted any password even though i
enable "on resume password protect" and "prompt for password when computer
resumes from standby" options. How do i ensure that a password is prompted
when i try to exit the screensaver? Thks in advance.

Why use a screensaver? Modern screens don't need one.

Just press one of the the Windows keys - the ones with the Windows flags on
them, and press the L key and the password window comes up and you have to
enter the password to get back to Windows, which is already fully loaded. It
doesn't reload, it just resumes from where it was.
