how to do a *COMPLETE* restart of computer

there is a way to do a complete restart of your computer, like you just
got it out of the box (nothing on it or anything), but i do not know
how, and that is exactly what i need to do to my computer. i will
appreciate any help!

well... you could FDISK and remove all partitions

But you are probably talking about using the manufacturers restore
disk... Boot from the restore disk that you got with your system and it
will give you instructions on what to do

If it came with the machine, then the manual should have instructions on
how to do this - it may involve booting a recovery CD, or may involve
(eg with HP) hitting a key at power on to initiate the process

If it was a separate CD of XP you installed from yourself; then boot
that XP CD direct. Enter Setup, and after the license agreement take
New Install. When it asks you to confirm where, hit ESC; select and
delete the current partition and make a new RAW one to be formatted at
the next stage

The important point is the delete. Without that it will just go ahead
and make a new install over the top of the old one
