WindowsXP View has 5 choices, any other would have to be a 3rd party.
Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List and Details. Open Windows Explorer and
click the View tab and try them out.
I use "c:\windows\explorer.exe /n,/e,c:\" as a shortcut on my desktop
to bring up Drive C in detail view, folder view. Substitute the final
"c:\" with the drive\[subdirectory] you want for other
drives/subdirectory. You can give it a descriptive name as well -
e.g. "Upper DVD-R Drive F" for the shortcut c:\explorer.exe /n,/e,/f:\
