How to discover cause of stop error

S

steph hugel

I receive a stop error when booting to Windows XP Professional (Sp1, latest
patches) no viruses or adware detected, details as follows:

0x00000050 (0xE1C9800, 0x00000000, 0x80529645, 0x00000001)

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I haven't added any hardware, or made changes to my bios, my hardware
drivers are up-to-date and the system runs fine in safe mode. Will the debug
tool allow me to analyze the minidump file and discover what's causing it?
Is there any other way I can ascertain what's causing it?

TIA
