how to Disable auto logon?!

How can i disable the automatic logon?!

I am using winXp Sp2;

beside builtin usernames there is just one user created, lets call it X

user X does not have any passwords

windows automaticcaly logs on to user X

I used control userpasswords and put a check beside "user must enter a ..."

I want to keep both welcome screen and fast user switching options checked
(and they are checked)

some of the Registry key values are as follows:

autoadminlogon = "0"
defaultusername = "X" ; deleting the value of this key does not help
there is no key named defaultpassword;

still windows automatically logs on to user X
plz help

Try Tweakui from the microsoft download site. Its usually under powertoys.
Once installed theres an option under Logon menu.
