Auto logon disabled

Recently, I was made aware that when the network workgroup is changed, the
auto logon is disabled. It also seems to happen intermittently when the
network cable is plugged in during bootup. I checked the registry, and under
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
DefaultPassword key is deleted, and AutoAdminLogon key is set to zero. After
I add DefaultPassword key back and change AutoAdminLogon to 1, Auto logon
works normally again. I am almost certain that this just starting happening
recently, does this sound like a setup problem, or possibly a missing
component issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry I didn't really make my situation clear. The auto logon was working
fine. The registry settings were correct with AutoAdminLogon set to 1. After
the network workgroup is changed and the system rebooted, AutoAdminLogon
becomes 0 and DefaultPassword key is deleted. DefaultUserName key is not
affected. I don't know why this is happening. I don't want customers to need
to modify their registry if they change the workgroup. They may not even have
a keyboard available to type in their password if this happens in the field.
Our product normally uses a touch screen with an on screen keyboard. Maybe
this is normal behavior when changing workgroup? Thank you for the reply.

In fact, I have some question in auto logon,i have added "automatic logon",
but sometimes after FBA, autologon function failed.

i have some info for your reference, but i don't know why:
"Use the "Automatic Logon" component to automatically log on the user every
time the system boots. This component has configurable settings allowing you
to enter the default Domain Name, User Name and Password. Keep in mind that
if the user changes these values later within the runtime the Autologon
feature will fail"
