Hi, I have 2 drives, drive C with WinXP system installed and a data drive D.
Every time when WinXP starts, it automatically CHKDSK drive D, but none of
any error was found. When I tried to defragment drive D, I was unable to do
it because a message indicated that there is a scheduled CHKDSK /S on this
drive. Kindly please help me on how to disable this scheduled CHKDSK /S.
Thanks!!

I've wondered about this a few times when CHKDSK seems to be taking a really
long time, and I want to use my computer.

Once CHKDSK has started, is there any safe way to abort it?

Alan
