How to delete XP partition

I have dual boot XP and Vista on same disk , different partitions. How to
delete XP partition without residuals problems ?

Same disk. Make the Vista partition the active partition. Run startup
repair from the DVD (may take more than 1 time). When you can boot into
Vista, you can do what you want to with your XP partition.
