How to delete headers when account has been canceled

B

Bill Honaker

One of our users has recently canceled a 'home' POP3 account. He
still has a header message listed in his Mailbox (he uses an
'Exchange' connection for his main email). Since the account no
longer exists, he would like to delete the header from his inbox.
However, nothing he tries (including 'shift delete' works.

He is using Outlook 2003.

Any help would be appreciated....

FYI: Solution was found by the user:

'I was able to remove the unwanted headers by means of Tools->Mailbox
Cleanup->Find. I selected various criteria until I was able to pickup
the two unwanted headers. Then I did a Shift-Delete and answered "Yes"
to the "Are you sure" question.'

Just in case anyone else is having the same problem.
