I have a text box frame in a Word document which has no text inside. I need
to get rid of the box. Can anyone assist? Thanks.

Select it and press Delete.

Hi, Garfield, etc.

The delete key does not delete the box.

Any ideas?

Do you have the text box selected when you Delete? That is, is the insertion
point in the text box, or is the text box highlighted with a hashed border
and six sizing handles?
