how to create more then one network connection ?

I want to create addtional network connection which allow me to connect to
different class of the network.

how to do it ?
 
Install another network adapter (physical device)
or
Add another IP address to the current connection

To do the latter go into Network Connections - Properties of the connection
in question
Internet Protocol Properties - Advanced - Add an IP address.
