how to copy entire external webpage

I have FP2000 and can't seem to find a way
to copy an entire external webpage -
ie - the html, any graphics, and any CSS
I can do it with a simple IE file save command,
but can't seem to find the commands within FP
to copy an entire page & all it's supporting files
into a local web...to work on the page remotely.
??

If the site has the FP SE open it in FP online
(File Open Web http://www.thedomain.com)
and use File Publish to your local

If not use the Imp0rt wizard under File New Web/Site
(will only import what the browser sees)
or a 3rd party FTP to download the site/files

Did you say to work on? If that's the case, you need to open the web with
FrontPage first.

I'm sometimes behind a proxy - and FTP is not allowed - so that is out...
Also - the hosting site is not running the FP Server Extensions...so can't
do that -

I occassionally need to "retrieve" and start working on changes via my
laptop,
but without the usual connection facilities of FTP or SE - like at home -
I noticed that if I opened the remote site, I didn't get the CSS pages,
nor any of the graphics referenced in the IMG SRC statements, etc -
So, when I bring up the page locally, it's missing critical parts.
I've actually been using IE to "grab & save" the webpage (which gets me all
the piece parts)
and then look at the source for the CSS and go back manually and have IE
grab that as a URL.

You might want to consider upgrading FrontPage to version 2003. It is much
friendlier with non-server-extensions webs.
