how to copy and send excel file 2007 to hotmail customers

How can I save an excel 2007 file attachment and then send or forward to
hotmail customer

The Email code is a great help.
Is there code to add it to a compressed file before sending?
 
In rowsing Ron's site I have found the zip code so will try to adapt for my
purposes.

Using Ron's code to try zipping an xls worksheet, namely:
'Sub Zip_ActiveWorkbook()
Dim strDate As String, DefPath As String
Dim FileNameZip, FileNameXls
Dim oApp As Object
Dim FileExtStr As String


'Create empty Zip File
NewZip (FileNameZip)"

A compile error occurs: Sub or Function not defined.

Is the function available in Excel 2007?
