internal locator service (ILS) or MIcrosoft internet
directory it says "the directory server could not be
found, you may not be connected to the network or u have
mistyped the server name"

i use windows XP and a DSL connection ... i can recieve
calls through netmeeting but cant place any. please tell
what to do ..

Greetings Karen,

The "normal way" to place a Netmeeting call is to simply call the other persons IP address
(click the Call menu, then New Call in Netmeeting). Although you can find third-party ILS
servers (See http://www.netmeetinghq.com/ils/servers.phtml), the Microsoft Internet Directory
has been down for years (and isn't coming back).
