How to combine contents of several .PST files

Guest

I have installed Outlook 2003 on a new Pc. I have earlier used Outlook on several Pc for different purposes and so have 3 different .PST files

Now, for the future I will only use the new Pc for all purposes, and so would like to merge all the foldes into on .PST file. As a start I have taken one of the .PST files and used as a basis for the new Outlook installation.

How can I merge the contents of the two other .PST files into the new one. Or is it better to make a totally new .PST file in 2003 (perhaps there are more options available with the new folders?) and import contents of the old files

In this case I suggest you start with a new pst-file as the new Oulook 2003
pst-file format will allow you a file size of 20GB (which can be over 4000TB
as well by the way). The old format stops at 2GB. Note that when you start
with a new pst-file and import the old content into it you'll loose your
custom views and forms will be lost and the modified/created date of the
items will be reset as well to todays date. If this isn't a concern to you;
use the method described above.

Another method is that you start with a new pst-file and connect to the old
pst-files as well instead. You can connect to those files by File-> Open->
Outlook Data File...

Hi Frank,

I will suggest you to get PST Merge software available in the market. PST Merge is the software that will combine the content of multiple PST files to a single PST file. I have used this tool a month back to combine PST files and have got 100% results.

You can download the software from the following website:
http://www.pstmerge.com

Good Luck!!
